Moonman is a grandson of GCH Wood Bridge Farm Count On Me +*B, who is a son of GCH Wood Bridge Farm CountNBlessns *M VEEV89, the 1st place 2016 ADGA National Yearling Milker. “Count” is quickly becoming a very influential sire for the Nigerian Dwarf breed, having several finished daughters, one of which is GCH Winning Streak CM Darlin’ Diva 7*M VEVE91, who placed 3rd/3rd Best Udder 3 yo in the 2021 ADGA Nationals. Moonman’s granddam is GCH Winning Streak EB S’therncharm 2*M VVVE89, who placed 7th in her 4 yo class in the 2021 ADGA Nationals. Her sire, Phoenix Farm Exotic Bird, had the 4th place Get of Sire that same year at Nationals.

Moonman’s dam is the daughter of CH Caprine Acres SG Hott Shott EEE91 and CH J-Nels LY Mo Mo, who is a daughter of the great GCH Chenango-Hills Lysander +*B EEV90 and SGCH J-Nels ER Dumplin VEEE90, the 2011 ADGA Reserve National Champion. Lysander’s granddam was the 2010 ADGA National Champion, and Lysander sired several does that earned their permanent CH, with a couple earning SG status. 

 

Moonman is still a young sire, so we don’t have a great idea of what his contributions will be. I will say that I have yet to see a kid of his without a ton of wrinkles. His first daughter is due to kid in January 2024.
